We can judge others or we can love others…but we cannot do both.
The best intentions to judge are our own.
Judgment of others always results in judgment of ourselves.
I read an article today about a woman who had recently passed away. When she was younger she was married and had two children. For whatever reason, she abandoned them, remarried and had additional children.
The children she abandoned apparently weren’t able to forgive her for what she did. When she passed, they purchased an obituary in their local paper. In it, they said there wasn’t any love lost and that the world will be better off without her.
There were many vocal critics. The critics stated that we all deserve respect when we pass away.
It is probably best not to judge. Not all are gifted with perfect parents.
