Poems My Grandmother Taught Me

My Airplane

Fly away airplane,
High in the sky.
Say hello to the birds
As you go by.
Fly through the rain,
Pass by the sun,
Roll on a cloud,
Have lots of fun!
Then when night comes,
Go touch a star,
Let the man on the moon
See how fast you are.
But I ask you this:
After your spree,
Please come flying
Home to me!
