Rethinking Retirement

I had a conversation not too long ago with a man in his 80’s. He’d worked until 72, so, I asked him how he was enjoying retirement. He said he wasn’t. So, I asked him why.

“My wife and I were supposed to travel in our Golden Years. We are now at a place in our lives where we are physically unable to do so.”

Live your life. Visit. Explore. Taste. Smell. Touch. Taste. Listen. Now.

Tomorrow isn’t guaranteed.
