Poems My Grandmother Taught Me

A Doggie Tale!

I tend to be naughty,
And chew up shoes,
But they’re mostly ones
That no one can use.
I track up the rug
With muddy feet,
And sometimes I bark
At the cars in the street.
But I can do tricks —
I can play dead,
I can beg for my dinner
When I want to be fed.
