Poems My Grandmother Taught Me

Ladybugs

I saw a Ladybug today,
On a rosebud pink,
Such a pretty thing to see,
But it made me think.
How do I know they’re all lady bugs,
Couldn’t some of them be men?
And if they are, what do I call
Such a Ladybug then?
In such a case I suppose I can
Call it, in truth, a Ladybugman!
